A Shamastatk, is a religious item used during prayer. The Shamastatk is in essence a prayer mat or rug which by law must be used when praying to the God's seven times daily. Although once only allowed to be knitted in the finest of cloths, today they are mass produced in many type of fabrics and materials. Today's most popular Shamastatk are made of composite materials such as Imitation Rubber.

According to the Big Book of Ancient Gabanian Fables Book III: "Prayers must be conducted 7 times daily. When in the Temple, Clothing is optional as don't haste for the Mother Goddess brought us into the world naked. If clothed, remeber that all shoes must be taken off before entering the sacred bath in the entrance of the Temple. You shall pray upon a Shamastatk, this shall be made by you or purchased from the Temple and upon this you must pray 7 days a week. You must pray towards the Direction of the Holy of Holies and may turn the Shamastatk towards the four corners as you pray upon it. " Shamastatk have been used for millions of years and appear in all Athenian Cutlures. The most orante and famous of them all come from Athens and of the Tiglit Tribe.
