The Battle of Tenderete took place on the 17-29 of November, 2981 and drew in forces from the Liberated Californian Rebels and the Imperial Navy. The Imperial Navy began bombarding the island until they drove the Californians into hiding, calling for reinforcements, the Gainese sent in countless rebel groups and sent their makeshift Navy in to the fighting. The Fighting killed nearly 67,897,256 Inhabitants on the island and killed nearly 100,000,000 soldiers on either side. The Battle is considered one of the bloodiest Naval Defenses in the history of the Second Gainese-Russo War.

Tenderete is the largest of the islands of Las Palmas de California. The Gainese had been wanting to take control of the island for decades. When they succeeded they established the Free Californian Forces. These forces killed countless inhabitants who were of Russian Decent. Thus the Russian's sent in the Imperial Navy on the 16 of November. By the 17th all out war took place. Countless Soldiers where seen burning villages, raping women, harassing young children, and murdering both russians, Athenians, and Puerto Ricans alike. When the Imperial Naval Officers saw this, they reacted by burning the Gainese Ships and marching into the concentration camps on Mt. Holmes in order to free the captured inhabitants. The Project thus then became a rescue mission to take all Imperial Nationals away from the fighting alas while the Gainese began invading their home.
